Well you’re in luck because we’ve just launched our latest learning game – Bubble Blaster! You can try a free demo here to see how it works.
The game has just been added as a template on Genie, our game-based content authoring tool. If you’re not familiar with Genie, it’s designed to make the creation of learning games as quick and easy as can be.
First, content creators just need to upload their assets, and from there they pick one of the dozens of game templates available. Now they simply slot their assets into the template, and just like that a super-engaging learning game is born!
That means that anyone, including you, could use this game to deliver learning content. What a perfect way to inject a little bit of engagement into your training programme!

Bubble Blaster
So how does this new game work?
Learners find themselves in command of a shiny bubble cannon. Standing between them and their training content is a nefarious horde of bubbles, which the learner must blast their way through.
The cannon fires different colours of bubbles. If the learner is able to make a chain of three or more then those bubbles will pop, and any bubbles they’re supporting will fall.
A number of bubbles will have a symbol on them, showing that they have slides of learning content locked inside them. When they pop or fall, the learner will be presented with that content, and they’ll have to complete it before they can get back to more blasting.
Along the way, the learner will earn points and power-ups to help them complete the content. These power-ups include a ‘50/50’ to remove some incorrect answers to a question, or ‘Ask Genie’ to get a hint about the answer.
The aim of the game is to clear the board and complete all of the content, earning the highest possible score in the process!
We’ve got plenty more exciting games just around the corner, so stay tuned!
